In this age of AI, The ITWeb has exploded.

I started my first blog out of fire and brimstone in 2015, when I just wanted to blog without understanding the whole essence of it. I just wanted to write a post on Wordpress and publish without knowing my posts could contain links that would rake in some cash. I would write a post about something I felt people wanted to read about without doing keyword research to know what people actually wanted. I first heard about Yoast SEO and Wordfence from @johnobidi and even downloaded and installed the plugins, without really harnessing their full benefits because I didn't know the impact of SEO in pulling organic traffic. I even designed WordPress website for a client, guided her to record an MLM promotional video using screencast-o-matic, uploaded to YouTube, to be able to get an embed link so I could embed on her site. We did all that without really knowing how to make money from blogging and traffic. Just raw passion. Even though I had heard about affiliate marketing from @lisairby, I didn't know how it could blow up my blog with cash. I managed to request for Google adsense and got a decline because, according to them, I didn't meet their criteria. But how energetic I was. In my ignorance of meaning, my energy was magnetic. I ran Facebook ads without knowing the importance of landing pages and building mailing lists even though I knew about them. So I ran the ads just for awareness, as I didn't have optin pages or lead magnets and didn't know the value of traffic. I pursued thought leadership without knowing if I made a little money and started shining, I would be learning and fighting from a position of rest. That I would by human behaviour, become a thought leader more quickly, as people always want to see results, proofs and glamour. I wish I knew affiliate marketing as I now know it today. I wish I was serious with some blogs I discovered then that I didn't seriously eat up. I wish I knew @neilpatel and followed him very well. But I'm more grateful for today. Our eyes are better open. Hey Fam... . Consumption of content by watching video tutorials or reading e-books or paperback is great. . But that's a dimension of learning. . Taking notes, by actually writing down what you learn is one step ahead because it makes your stuff stick. . And of course, it strengthens your recall memory. . The difference between recognition memory and recall memory is a discussion for another day. . But the best study method of all is the actual experimentation, or call it practice. . If you don't know corel draw, get your hands do'rty with pixel lab. . If you can't use pixel lab, get going with snapseed. . If you don't want snapseed, please use canva. .
