Of course this was bound to happen at some point. His life wasn’t willing to give him a break, ever. Not even after waking up in a different world, his life did take for a better turn. Or at least that was what went through his head when he walked into none other than Sara Chidouin, while going out in order to stock up on some groceries.

“Well, well...” What came after that, sounded like a dramatic pause, but in this moment, he really struggled for the right words to throw at her head. If it was about survival, he still did work together with her in the past, however, if he has the choice, he’d rather wouldn’t have anything to do with her anymore. Though, the anger in his heart he felt because of what happened to Kanna, still thirsted after some kind of revenge too. 

“Why should I help you to crawl into suspicious looking holes to severe some pipes or whatever. What would I get from that? If this place would have a better security system, none of that stuff would have ever happened in the first place.” 

“Hey, you there! You’re bored too?” Kokichi genuinely was bored. He decided to visit the fancy part of the Golden Ward today, which lead him to the Golden Dawn Resort, however, the spa did sound like not enough action for someone fun loving as him. He had his eyes already set on a more fun place... But it wouldn’t be as fun if he’d go there alone. So, asking someone around his age sounded like a good idea to him! That’s why he just approached that one girl that was wearing a high school uniform.

What kind of question was that? Who wasn’t scared of being hurt, especially when coming from a situation like he and Sara did. Somehow, even if it probably wasn’t meant like that, it felt like a taunt to him. Did she poke around the Kanna topic again?
