If you are having trouble writing that paper, switch the font to Comic Sans and just start yapping.

It sounds stupid, I thought it sounded stupid when I first read that, but it works for me. The unserious looking font makes the document seem like less of an academic dread and more of “ha ha this doesn’t matter to me.” In my experience, the less focused I am on the incoming deadline, the more my mind can just start flowing.

Of course, switch the font back to whatever format is listed in that rubric, but if you’re stuck, you got nothing to lose. I personally hate looking at Comic Sans, but it’s helped me draft more than one college paper or discussion post, so I thought I would share.

Originally, I was supposed to go on vacation on Monday (not really vacation since its just me housesitting my sister-in-law‘s house for two weeks) but plans absolutely changed so vacation starts on Friday which means I only have tomorrow and a Friday morning to Pack my shit and clean before I leave because don’t like to come back home to a mess. Sounds not like a lot, but to me it’s stressing because I thought I had a plan but now everything is different. I’m also very iffy about leaving my plants in someone else’s care.

I hope in those two weeks I can get a lot of writing done because I have so much in my head. Probably post a poll for that tomorrow cuz i need to know what the peeps on here want the most 🫶🏻
