DOMINIC: is that a good thing

      perched on the porch railing of the surf shack, leo was sipping occasionally from a bottle of beer and enjoying the atmosphere of the beach down below. it was the weekend and the sun was setting, so a group of friends had gathered on the sand for a bonfire. leo liked it when people had their parties on the beach -- as long as they cleaned up after themselves. “y’know, someone BRIBED me to go skinny dipping after dark last week,” he prompted, gesturing towards the water. “i  woulda done it, but i think ten bucks is a little cheap to freeze any body part off for." he paused. "how much would you have done it for?”

entranced,as per usual, by her laptop screen, gem ashmore stayed tucked well into the corner of this cafe. for a tuesday, it was quiet, but that is what she had hoped for. working from home on her evenings off were a recipe for disaster - a lesson she learned when she first began her duty as a paralegal. her boss had politely asked her to continue work on a case that was needing to go to trial by friday, and she was burning into overtime to get it finished, and let it be done well. she pauses for a second, sipping from the cup of peppermint tea she ordered. it was the same two items she got each time she came here -- a peppermint tea, and a cheese scone. an excellent combo. a figure standing in her peripheral is what draws her attention away from her screen, but she refuses to look for more than a second before returning to work. “look - i’m really busy right now, okay?” she says in a stressed tone, “this has got to be done by friday and the boss is shoving it down my throat so if you don’t mind, i need to focus.”

       so MAYBE romeo’s A LITTLE tipsy , and MAYBE romeo’s standing on a table in the bar , hips moving ( beautifully , he might add ) to the music that was playing , but he was most certainly having FUN , which was the goal of a night out , wasn’t it ? he’s only stopped when he sees someone looking right up at him , and he kneels down on the table , head tilting down to look at them. “ hey ! you should get up here and dance with me. it’ll be fun ! “

i need to get some threads with dominic going so please like this for a closed starter from him !! ( & if we haven’t plotted w/ him yet i might come to you for plot ideas )
