"There are plants out there that mimic animals to scare of predators."
How do plants know what animals look like?

I wonder what percentage of the phrases I use on a regular basis are from random videos/audio.
Like, even the tone of my voice when I say "no" is me mimicking a video quote half the time. (Example: Captain America's "No, I don't think I will").

ITAAT or just some form of echolalia thing to mimic accents? E.g, I take Japanese, and apparently whenever I say something I sort of have an accent? ....Or at least, according to my friends who sit around me and take the class with me. (And I usually don't even realize this, tbh. But I have occasionally)
Yes. It seems to be a common thing to mimic accents and it likely has something to do with the echophenomenon.

Hey your post actually makes a lot of sense (the one about video games) because I used to watch my brother play fallout all the time (I was pretty young too, like 9 or 10) but so I would just walk around and when I interacted with people for a while I would imagine the text and all the options for when it was my turn to speak.... I kind of lost track but anyways knowing someone else feels this is cool Also now that I think about it, the game was probably a special interest at the time ;P
That’s cool! It’s always neat figuring out explanations for why we behave(d) in certain ways.
