Summary: Growing up, Junior Shostakov was an outgoing boy that loved to have the center of attention while his twin Dimitri was the total opposite. He loved his brother, but he wished he wasn't so much of a crybaby all the time. He did his best being a good big brother, watching over and protecting him while their father was out being the greatest hero he had ever known, The Red Guardian. His brother seemed to like Captain America a lot more, but not to Junior, his dad was better.
In 1991, everything changed when they were five, their dad's uniform of the Red Guardian was taken. It hurt a lot seeing how broken his once-proud father was now...depressed and drinking a lot until Dreykov cane a year later, offering him a chance to become a 'hero' to Russia again with a secret uncover mission. Dimitri seemed more scared and not liking the idea, but Junior was all for it because his dad seemed happier than he did in a long time and what was even better was that Dimitri and Junior could go along with him and help.
However, Junior didn't expect to meet a woman and two girls to join them on this mission, so he was upset jealous at first because not only did he lose some of his father's attention, but also his younger brother.
So, he was a bit annoyed, especially when it came to the girl, Natasha, not only was she older than him so he 'had' to listen to her but also because Dimitri seemed to like her better.
However, after a year together Junior seemed to realize he was happier this way, being with a family and not waiting home alone with Dimitri for their dad to come home.
Natasha would look after him and his brother, making sure they were safe from bullies and from harm in general.
Yelena was honestly a sweetheart, she made sure he was okay if he looked just the tiniest bit of sad and loved getting piggyback rides from him on the way home from playing in the park with all of them.
Most of all it was just really great to have a mom now, Melina would always take care of all of them and cared for them. Junior never really had that before, the twins never knew their mother since she left their dad early on in their life.
These were the best three years of Junior's life, but it didn't last because in 1995, his father ended up completing the mission and when they left for Cuba, he and his brother were dropped away from the mother and sisters they had grown to love.
Trying to console his upset twin, Junior was approached by Dreykov, kneeling down to their level and promising them to help them get big and strong. Junior didn't see his father walking away from them at this moment, Dimitri did, but Junior wanted to be strong like his dad, to be a hero. Then maybe if he was big and strong he could go save Natasha and Yelena...they could be a family again.
So, Junior agreed happily and let Dreykov lead them into his car, both boys not knowing how drastic their life was about to turn.
Dimitri was still scared but Junior pressured them that their dad wouldn't just leave them with bad guys and it would be okay before the brothers were then separated from each other.
Over the years, Junior proved to be a good soldier by following orders and complete missions at whatever cost in an efficient manner after being given an experimental super-soldier serum. He was fast, strong, and unbelievably hard to beat, believing he was 'perfect'.
That all changed when Junior was 22 and saw what they had done to his twin brother. Feeling guilty and believing that it was his fault that Dimitri ended up this way Junior broke out his brainwashed state, hiding him so he could recover and burning that facility to the ground.
Then everything went horribly wrong, Junior had fallen in love with the wrong person, he ended up betraying Junior and Widows were sent after both of them. When it seemed like there was no escape, Junior promised his brother he would never let him go back there, no matter what, and told him to go on while he caused a distraction.
This distraction ended up causing massive attention and destruction to the city, more trouble than what Dreykov wanted, and Junior was sent to live in a maximum prison. Thankfully, before the escape, Junior slipped Dimitri on how to reach him when he had gotten safe and kept in close contact with each other by writing in coded letters.
The next 8 years for Junior was him letting out all his pent up anger over the years after everything, first, his dad, Dreykov, his ex, and anyone in the prison that decided to mess with him so he was sent into solitary a lot, the only thing that kept him going was prison booze and Dimitri's letters.
However, on one unexpected day he was broken out of prison by two people he was sure he would never see again...his older sister Natasha Romanoff and his baby sister Yelena.
They needed his help...and Junior was glad to give it to them.
"Sounds fun, but we gotta go pick someone up first."

But his research seemed to make him more confused and concerned about what was going on, aliens from outer space? Human experiments? And before he could even get further research his dad seemed to have one of the aliens...inside him? Its name was Venom and it would change both father and son's life forever.

Dimitri didn't like or even trust him but wanting to feel like a 'hero' again his dad took up the mission. Even though Dimitri had bad feelings about it, he and his brother were actually excited because they got to help their dad out with his important secret undercover mission in Ohio. Â What Dimitri didn't expect to see was a woman and two girls waiting for them. Â The woman's name was Melina Vostokoff, the oldest girl, who looked to be around 8 years old was Natasha Romanoff and the youngest girl's name was Yelena Belova, she looked to be around just 3 years old. Â These girls would end up changing the little boy's life. Dimitri and Junior's mother left very early on in their life, so early that they would never even know what she had looked like. The brothers only had each other and their father, but it was on and off. Melina was like a real mother to him, she was caring and understanding, more than his father really. Dimitri was considered to be a crybaby, weak. So, he had always felt like his father was disappointed in him, wanting him to man up, be strong like him and his brother. But, Melina seemed to understand his fear, always took him on walks when he was upset, explaining things to him that made him smile or curious. She even said that he was already a mini-scientist, always curious about things. Being around Natasha and Yelena was amazing for Dimitri as well. He loved his twin, but he was always rough with him, picking on him. Natasha, however, always stood up for him, protecting him from anyone and anything. Then, Yelena was basically his best friend. They did everything together. He loved taking care of and having a little sister, one of their favorite songs was American Pie by Don McLean. These would be the best three years of Dimitri's life...but it wouldn't last because, in 1995, his father completed the mission, and Dimitri was forced away from the mother and sisters he had grown to love. Not only that, Dimitri was forced away from his twin as well, both would be used as experiments for the super-soldier serum. Dimitri ended up getting the worst of it. He was forced through painful treatments, eventually being brainwashed to follow their orders. Because of their experiments, it ended up mutating his body to become more giant and large, giving him an immense amount of strength. Â Dimitri was only eight years old...He would end up following their orders, killing whoever got in the way of missions for years, until he was 22 years old and his twin found what they had done to him. Alexie, or Sasha as Dimitri used to lovingly call him, ended up freeing him from the brainwash and both tried to escape. Things ended up going horribly wrong, Widows were sent after the both of them and they were getting close. Sasha ended up sacrificing himself by causing a distraction so Dimitri could get away. His brother survived, but was forced into a maximum prison because of his actions of the distraction he caused. Dimitri ended up running away, but getting cornered by a Widow, but during the scuffle, Dimitri ended up falling to his 'death'. From the experimentation. Dimitri's body could receive an insane amount of injuries without dying like a 'normal' human being. However, the people who controlled Dimitri did not know this. Dimitri successfully faked his death but had to hide underground for the next 8 years by himself, having only the company of plants and stray animals he took care of. Until one day his brother came to rescue him with the company of his sisters he never thought he would see again. And they needed his help...
