Matthew is in size 4 diapers and 12 month clothes (some 12 month clothes are even starting to feel a little tight!!) He is 20 pounds 12 oz and 27.5 inches. He is army crawling and getting from place to place. He has just recently started getting up on his knees and rocking back and forth. Sometimes even lunging and trying to sit himself up on his own. He’s so far made it a couple steps on his knees but that’s it before giving up and laying back down. He sits up completely unsupported. He would rather be sitting up playing rather than laying down. He’s been rolling over for a couple months now, but it’s become almost impossible to change his diaper without him rolling over on me! And he refuses to sleep on his back. When I lay him down, he immediately rolls over on his belly.  Sleep has been iffy as he’s STILL teething, but no teeth yet! I swear he has to be having multiple coming in. 

He loves baby food. So far he has tried sweet potato, avocado, banana, apple and green bean (I make my own food for him). He doesn’t like green bean very much, so I’ve been mixing it in things! Next veggie he is going to try this weekend: carrot.

He’s become extremely attached to my husband and I (especially me) so it’s really hard to leave him with anybody, let alone leave the room for 30 seconds. I’m thinking teething has something to do with that. But he’s only going to be little for so long! 

He is almost always laughing or smiling as long as you’re talking to him. He LOVES to be talked to.

We have also been offering a sippy cup to him the past week, and he finally took and drank from it today!! He can hold and suck on it himself, but we just need a little more work on tipping it back (:
