[*You see a little white dog run towards you with something in his mouth.Theres a shadowy figure with something red on its neck running after him- wait a minute...are they on all fours??? Why the hell are they on all fours it feels strangely familiar almost like someone else used to do the same thing*]

[*The dog makes a sharp turn and the shadowguy tries to match the turn but their foot slips out from under them. sending them crashing into you.*]

[*They quickly get back up no longer worried about the dog and more worried about you. They offer a hand to help you up*]

ooh i'd LOVE to talk about my AUs ty for asking

i am a sucker for toxic relationships in fiction and also stockholm syndrome so i wanted dream to suffer as much as possible. george is a scientist working at a lab and dream is (was) his coworker when george decides to conduct first-hand research on the human brain

basically george wants to see if you can condition someone to behave a certain way. he wants to see if a sentient and mentally evolved being such as humans can be convinced with proper training that they are a dog (hence the name dog days)

he tells that to dream and dream, unaware of the extent george is willing to go, agrees to help him with his research, like any good friend does

one thing leads to another and dream is now tortured repeatedly and trained until he behaves like a dog. which is not going to happen anytime soon

what does happen soon is stockholm syndrome and perhaps a bit of pavlovs because george is still technically taking care of him and it sends dream's brain happy chemicals. george's technically still his friend

Never seen before

Tanjiro stared in wonder at the girl off in the distance.

Her tails swished slowly in the wind.

Her ears twitched and she looked back at the young demon slayer.

He realized he had been caught staring when the girl had been replaced by a magical looking fox.

The small fox ran off and Tanjiro reached out to her, wanting to follow her, to find out more.

He pulled his arm back in, deciding to not follow her, wanting to respect her privacy.

He walked back into the butterfly mansion, a small smile adorning his beautiful features.

He could hear the yelling of his friends, Zenitsu and Inosuke as soon as he walked in.

He sighed when the boys ran up to him.

“Tanjiro!!! Tell Inosuke to leave me alone!!!” Zenitsu wailed.

Inosuke yelled incoherent words at the blonde headed male and Zenitsu screamed.

Tanjiro walked back out, a deadpanned expression on his face.

The fox trotted back out, transforming back into her human form.

Tanjiro took a second to take in the girl’s features.

She looked absolutely beautiful, the sunset lit up and defined her features in the best way.

Tanjiro slowly walked up to the girl.

The girl had a sheepish look on her face.

“Oh um.. hello, I’m (Y/N)..” She introduced herself shyly and Tanjiro smiled.

“It’s nice to meet you (Y/N)! You have a beautiful name. My name is Tanjiro!” The girl smiled, her tails swaying.

“If you don’t mind me asking, what are you exactly? Why are you able to turn into a fox and why do you have fox ears and multiple tails?” He asked cautiously.

(Y/N) giggled at his questioning.

“I’m a kitsune spirit. That’s how and why I have these features and why I can transform into a fox.” She explained and Tanjiro listened intently as she explained the kitsune history.

They continued hanging out and getting to know each other.

“Well, I need to go back, goodbye Tanjiro. I’ll be back.” (Y/N) smiled, waved and turned into a fox.

Tanjiro waved, disappointed that she needed to leave. “Bye (Y/N)..”

The small kitsune spirit walked off into the forest.
