Even though fanfiction was what re-ignited the spark, I’d say what really made it my otp were a lot of little things coming together into one great mass, y’know?
But, to answer your question? I’d say these ones did the trick:
i don’t know how long the soft hours are but: bakura braiding ryou’s hair as a way to ground himself in the present - he mixes and matches traditional styles and more modern braids he found. it’s really calming for both of them and ryou gets awesome hair braids (bakura never uses hair ties, the braids are tight and elaborate enough to last for days on their own)
