Goodmorning 🌞. I wanted to share these photos I took at this super cute farmers market I went to in East Hampton yesterday. I love farmers markets because you can almost always ask one of the employees there exactly where the produce came from and how it was treated/grown. This is something I never cared about up until recently but now the thought of exactly "what am I eating?" runs through my head often when shopping. So less than a year ago I was one of those people who called bullshit on organic eating, clean eating, etc. I assumed it was just the new way companies found to up charge us for food. While that is TRUE, organic food is certainly not affordable for everyone. I must admit after some research I'm now beginning to understand the importance of eating organic. I'll keep my point very simple. Organic ingredients are ingredients that were grown without the use of potentially harmful pesticides, GMOs, sewage sludge (wtf), synthetic fertilizers, etc etc insert more potentially terrible things here. Lets emphasize the word "potentially" because that word is the sole reason why produce that has been exposed to these things can still be sold because there is some evidence but not enough (yet) showing exactly how these chemicals & sewage sludge (yum) are harmful to the human body. After doing this research... long story short I decided I don't want to be anyone's test dummy and I'd like to pass on anything that may or may not have been fertilized in sewage sludge. Figuring out how to eat organic on a budget was not easy but I found a little gem of a place right in Brooklyn thats helped me out tremendously and I will be sharing soon ✨🌿 ... - - - #motivation #blackblogger #blogger #lifestyleblogger #beautyblogger #inspiration #workhard #nikond70 #thehamptons #easthampton #businesswoman #pursuitofhappiness #organic #organiceating #organicfoods #newyork #organicfruit #nogmos #cleaneating #theurbanmillennial #millennial #influencer #millennialinfluencer #bloglife #lifestyle (at East Hampton, New York)
