I absolutely agree with you, Warren was so stuck to the fact that someone couldn’t say they were bi cause we’ve known them for too long. I didn’t think this at first because i genuinely love kat but it feels like they brought her in to match all these demographics the show didn’t have: young, poc, lgbtq+. it feels like they just wanted to appeal to more people but it’s just insane that warren said they couldn’t do it and then literally did it

YES! I’m glad Warren changed his mind, but I’m so confused.😆
From the start it’s been clear that they brought Kat in to appeal to a younger and more woke demographic, which is great, but blatant twofer token minority characters rub me the wrong way. IDK, the SVU writers can never get it just right. lol Luckily, Jamie is a delight to watch and has been able to pull off anything they throw her way.
