Soft crusted sandwich bread as the 90th bake from the 2016 Great British Bakeoff cookbook. It’s a relative quick yeasted bread, only rises for two hours. Plenty of milk and a bit of syrup in it too. It is relative easy to stretch to the required shape and simply roll before placing it into the bread tin to rise and bake. After baking a bit of butter on the crust prevents it to stay hard. I opted to do this for the canapés coming up instead of use if ready made sandwich bread.
