Quarantine Hair Play Series: no filter, raw, natural, fresh face, makeup free and feeling happy in my own skin 😍 Creating can be just as fun by yourself as it is with other creatives as well! I literally just sat on a chair in front of my window for great natural lighting, put a tripod, a camera and a self timer to take pictures. I knew I did not just want classic selfie photos so I went ahead and played with my ponytail making this the "Quarantine Hair Play Series" lol What is great about this process is it is such a simple set up and literally anyone can do this! I was really feeling myself and feeling really happy with my skin, my lifestyle and my health despite this lock down because I REFUSE to be frustrated, stressed, bored, unmotivated, unproductive, and most importantly unhappy. I CHOSE to be productive, I CHOSE to be healthy, and I CHOSE to be happy because why tear yourself down?? Everyone should celebrate what you are confident and proud about yourself! The creative journey is a tough one. It’s not easy. There will be days of triumph and more days of fatigue. There will be very lonely days and days of asking why nothing seems to be working or moving. There will be days you even question your entire existence and wonder why you even started. There will be days and numerous nights of tears and heartache and waking up wanting to give up BUT I am here to tell you that it’s all part of the process. A process of discomfort and discovery. A process that pushes you to discover who you are as a person and then as an artist and creative. And as you hang in there doing what you do and love, you one day even embrace the days of pain and struggle because those days make you stronger and push you out of comfort zones you didn’t even realise were crippling to you and your art.
