“You want me to draw you?” Miles laid out on the sofa with an arm under his head and a sketchbook on his bent knees staring at the blank page. Thinking it over for a minute, the illustrator twirled the pencil in his left hand and shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know.. That’s a big ask,” it really wasn’t, but they didn’t need to know that.

Miles grinned like an idiot over to the person that had just rolled off of him. “I should leave for convention season more often if that’s my welcome home,” The illustrator chuckled breathlessly. He’d been gone for five months for the comicon circuit, but those long months were over and now he could come back to normal life. To get back to someone he’d just exposed his heart to before he’d left. The plan had been to talk things out, but it seemed that there was something else that had been the priority when he knocked on their door. 

"No," he spoke adamantly, "nuh-uh, deep dish is way too much sauce, gotta get through all that mess just t' get to some cheese..." He scoffed a bit. "I don't need a marinara bath when I'm jus' tryin' t' grab a slice." As comedic as it was, he placed his hands on his hips as he and Riri stood atop his apartment building. He was in his full uniform, mask and all, and his focus was solely on this very important topic.

“I swear I never know how to sit in these damn chairs. I should just bring mine from home..” Miles grumbled to himself as he adjusted his position for the thousandth time in his booth. His sister had gone off for a little while, and now it was just Miles and whoever decided they wanted a work to take home. A Miles Rutherford original. Comic convention season was by far his favorite. Often he dressed up himself in some sort of cosplay, though this year he’d opted not to. The meet and greets were fun, but he was far more interested in this portion of the job. Sitting down, taking some time with his fans and giving them a work of art to take home for their own. “Hi, sorry about that. What were you lookin’ for today?” What he was surprised to find when he was done fucking with his chair, was that the person sitting down across from him was a little distracting, distracting enough to put a smile on his face and make the man shake his head to rid himself of the daze in ihs eyes.
