Wow, this place was unreal. It was so different from anything she’d seen before, stranger than the glass forest or the vault of ash. It looked a little like the rusted city except... It wasn’t rusted. It was so clean! So whole! And it was bright! The sky was blue! Had she fallen in something? This was all so exciting. 

And there was... Things here. Machines? They didn’t seem nearly as angry. They certainly didn’t seem like sellum anyway. What a discovery!

“Hey, excuse me! Hello!” A brief pause. “Mmmiiiss..?”

“Wow, are you an alien? Oh- can you even understand me? This is so crazy- Handy do you think you could translate?”

The device on (in) her arms flashed briefly. “Can I translate into an unknown language?”

         Blue hues scan the area to find a female with twin tails as long as her entire body. Well, here goes nothing. Making her way towards @ghostruled​, she softly taps her on the shoulder as she chews her lip nervously. 

In the process of appreciating the new sights this place had to offer, Gakupo had found himself wandering all the way to the cherry blossom groves of the Cortes Ward. He wasn’t expecting to come across such a familiar sight, it almost made him feel like he was at home again. 

As he curiously looked around and explored, his trained ears managed to pick up on a very recognizable voice. Such a soft, light voice, Gakupo knew in an instant that it could only belong to one particular girl. Humming and pursing his lips, he followed the voice, until he spotted those iconic long teal twintails. 

“What’s the ‘01′ stand for?” Abrupt and sudden, typical of Kokonoe. She was shit when it came to small talk, not that this was ‘small talk’ of any kind. Kokonoe’s curiosity was piqued- whatever was on her shoulder looked more like a serial number than some kind of fancy tattoo. Sue her for being curious.

Socializing was a waste of time… but, maybe it wasn’t so bad, just this once.  A little conversation never killed anyone (and standing against the wall and watching everyone was getting a little too nostalgic).

“So…”  He’d chosen his conversation partner (victim) based on color scheme, at a loss on how otherwise to mingle.

Beyond the barbed wires, towards an even higher goal, the two of us are competing. Words are unnecessary. As rivals we only need to gaze at the side of each other's face.

While exchanging encouragement, even if the distance between us is within the reach of hand, we would never join hands. We have already given each other mutual recognition.

"No one else will ever be able to take your place in my heart."

Together we run, learn, envy, chase after each other's back, and when we are shoulder to shoulder, we say with a smile "This isn't so hard after all."

Saying "There will be no end." with a gasp, we looked on each other as an enemy at first. How mysterious it is, that we then somehow became frank and upfront with each other.

"Remember?" "I remember" "those days we walked through together."

While stumbling from time to time, I kept on dashing forward until I could almost reach the night sky, even if you might disappear from my side...

"What are you looking up at the sky with such sad-looking eyes?"

Even though you're running ahead, don't for a second doubt my capabilities. But I can't seem to catch up no matter how much I run.

"I was joking when I said I won. Smile now, and cry no more. You tried your hardest to reach your goal, didn't you?"

"I won't forget" "...It's okay to forget" "your dashing figure." / "my existence

"Don't look back. You're still only midway on your journey." I'll look forward. It's painful, but if it's what you want me to do...!

I wanted you to stay with me longer, and I wanted us to be together forever. As I tirelessly ran forward, I began to believe that we really were together. Just why did I keep screaming and asking why why why erratically? The distance between us ia already within my hand's reach.
