Killer Serve
How hard could it be? All Xion had to do was go up to Mikoto and ask if she was interested in the tennis team. Several classmates had told the girl that Mikoto had an amazing serve and the team must have her. Xion didn’t mind, the more the merrier.
Now here was the problem. Xion is shy. Sometimes, she’s so shy that she’ll just stay quiet. No need to muster up courage, that could be saved for another day. But this-- this was for the good of her team, so Xion had to do it.
It took her a moment before being able to tap the shoulder of Mikoto. When the other turned around, Xion smiled for a bit in greeting.
“Hey,” Xion’s tone was soft. Her voice lower than it should have been, “I was told you have an amazing serve in tennis, Mikoto.” Okay...so far so good...
