It was also around that time I subconsciously ship tcest. Funny, when I discovered it at age 14 it was disgusting to me. But at the same time I was looking at beast wars porn art.
Fast forward to 2002-2003 being 17-18, and I realized I shipped miketello. I think it clicked when I rewatched the first tmnt movie and noticed Don and Mikey's interaction
And I was like
