Mike’s fear is a depressing memory that haunts him everyday. Mike’s parents were trapped in a fire and burned alive while all Mike could do was hear them suffer. IT created that memory again for him but as real as the day it happened. Pennywise knew the way to lure these kids was by showing them there fear but in this case, he knew Mike was scared but would want to investigate and save whoever is in there naturally from feeling like he let his parent burn alive. Pennywise would lure us all with our fears... since that is what he always fed on. That’s why I kept telling the group that it isn’t real and he is just luring us. Although, It’s hard to not believe whats happening in front of you.
