Cell phones are everywhere in the workshop at the north pole. Everyone is advised to keep their cell phone either at low volume, on vibrate or off. Santa tries to keep his phone on vibrate mode as not to disturb the elves as they work. Sometimes while in his pocket, modes change and suddenly there is a ringing tone that is super loud.
