A word on Se13′s Soundtrack
The soundtrack for season 13 of Ninjago was emotional and fitting for the fantasy theme of the season. It amazes me that, year after year, Jay Vincent and Mike Kramer come out with soundtrack pieces that aren’t too repetitive nor declining in quality. Each season the score is emotional and original.

You ever hear a piece of music connected to a TV show or a cartoon and wonder “This is absolutely lovely, how did they luck out like that?” This is such a case IMHO. “LEGO Ninjago” is an unashamedly toy-sales driven cartoon series, but this piece, by Jay Vincent and Michael Kramer elegantly captures the notion of a falcon in flight as it leads the White Ninja Zane, with whom it shares a mysterious bond, on to... well, that would be telling.

Core Shift - The New Lands (Self-released)
Core Shift is one of the projects of Heerlen based (sound) artist Mike Kramer. With this new project he creates ambient techno which contains various elements from the Basic Channel sound, while dragging it more in the soundscape direction.
On this debut release we get three tracks (or four if you buy the CD-R version) of slow evolving synth pads and soft rhythms. Something that lies in the vain of Wolfgang Voigt (Gas) his work and the ambient techno connected to Kompakt.
