Mikaela x Sable

You know this one. You love this one. Goth/witchy best friends turned girlfriends. I don't need to explain them 💅

Sable x Taurie

I feel like they would get along SO well. Like yeah Taurie is a bitch (I love her) but I feel like out of all of the survivors she would get along best with Sable. Both of them are witchy (invocations). Both of them are into occult stuff (Taurie IS in a cult after all). Like I genuinely see them first getting to know each other just through curiosity of comparing their own knowledge. Very strangers to coworkers (??) to friends to lovers for me.

You just know they both listen to the same grungy/goth music but Sable is a high fashion girly while Taurie is in the PIT. Moshing 10000%. Something something scary dog privilege. Please someone see my vision I NEED them.

Haddie x Mikaela

VERY similar to the other pair but with just enough differences.

Haddie is the type to jump at the opportunity to learn more about paranormal stuff so I think that the moment she enters the fog she is on Mikaela. They're yappers, you know they would LOVE to share their different experiences with the supernatural.

Its also that storyteller x investigator dynamic??? Like those murder mystery writers x serial killer hypotheticals? You know they're at the edges of their seats when the other is talking. I just feel like they compliment each other so well as like comfy girlfriends.

Taurie x Haddie

ENEMIES TO LOVERRRRSSSS. OBSESSION. ANGER. But also forgiveness and comfort. OUGH not enough people give the attention I'm telling you guys this is where its at. Taurie's venomous hatred for Haddie from the beginning. Haddie's own distrust from being the only person to know who the Black Talon are/what they've done. I could write them their own post WOOO.

But after the initial antagonism fades away and they're left with this void? They latch onto each other easily. They're strangers but also its like they've known each other forever. Theyre a comforting weight. A reminder to their old lives, old connections, both bitter and sweet in the most comforting ways.

I've been calling them the "Grimoire Girls" because I'm not sure what else to call them. I also like the idea of "GrimGrit" (Grim(oire) being a call for the witch-y and occult stuff + Grit bc of how (at least for Taurie and Haddie) theyre both very raw and headstrong characters and are a bit more gritty compared to the other two.

Mikaurble is another ship name i like for them. Pronounced like "tinkerbell" (rather Mi-ker-bull, i guess). Its the best I can do for combining their names lol (Mikaela, Haddie Kaur, Taurie, and Sable)
