Portgas D. Ace:

- Ace is always groggy to wake up in the mornings, as much as he knows he has responsibilities, maybe a few minutes won’t hurt too bad.

“Man, wish I could stay here all day”

- Ace very much pulls you close to his chest, savouring the moment, burying his face in your hair, before he feels one of your hairs tickle his nose and he ends up sneezing. - You decide to let Ace deal with it, he made it, this is his mess to fix and his problem now.

- Ace always cuddles you with his arm rested around your shoulders, your head rested against his chest. Ace always snores loudly, laying on his back and without fail, theres always a bit of drool that’s at the corner of his mouth when he sleeps.

- If he forgets to pull his hat off? It always covers half of his face when he’s asleep. Sometimes it slips off and lands on your head and Ace panics in the morning because he can’t feel it on his head. When he doesn’t forget to pull his hat off? It’s always rested on the nightstand, or it’s on the floor.

“Alright, up we get, we need to go y/n”

- He always just hoists you up over his shoulder to drag you out of bed. Though. Sometimes you have to drag Ace by the ankles out of bed because hes a stubborn bastard.

Marco the Pheonix:

- Marco has gotten used to waking up early with his responsibility as both first mate and doctor. There’s always something happening on the Moby Dick that needs his attention, however, by some damn miracle, theres no urgent matter that needs to be tended to this morning. Marco has an early morning alarm clock that’s ingrained in him, however, that doesn’t stop him from holding you for a bit longer whilst he waist for you to wake up.

- Marco’s mythical zoan devil fruit always comes out a bit whilst he sleeps, another habit, there are times where he has fallen asleep and his phoenix tails rest by your legs, either curling around your ankles or just being a warm presence for you whilst you sleep.

- If you’re ever hurt or sick? Marco will pull you into his arms and let the phoenix flames curl around you, letting you bury your face in his chest is the flames are too bright for you whilst your trying to fall asleep.

“Too bright? Yeah, they always are, here, put your head on my chest, might block out the light a bit, yoi”

- Sometimes Marco’s phoenix wings come out when he’s asleep, they are actually very soft so you are not complaining when they rest across you. But, Marco always stretches in the morning, specifically his arms as he likes to crack his shoulders for some relief because of his devil fruit being out whilst he sleeps. In doing so? When he stretches his wings, they do have a habit of knocking his glasses off of the nightstand, so the doctor of the Whitebeard pirates does spend quite a few minutes of the morning trying to find where his glasses have gone.

Trafalgar D. Water Law:

- Law sleeps in bouts, so he’s usually awake long before you are, either due to staying up for the entire night, or he just wakes up early. Law is usually reading when you are asleep, glasses resting on the end of his nose as he keeps his back against the headboard of his bed. He’s not the biggest cuddler, he’s a man that likes his own space, but that doesn’t mean he wont ever give affection. Affection with law is typically given when your alone, after all, the last time he openly started caring about someone? They were shot multiple times and killed.

- Sometimes when you wake up, you can feel Law’s thumb brushing over your knuckles and your hand or the back of your neck, if you can somehow convincingly pretend that you’re still asleep? You can even hear him quietly muttering about the muscles and nerves that belong to where he’s currently tracing.

- Law always sleeps on his back, usually he rests his hands over his chest, or his hand is usually rested next to yours whilst you sleep, sometimes your fingers are entwined together when he’s dead asleep. Maybe his grip tightens when you try and pull away.

“Morning, y/n-ya. Sleep well?”

- He’d mutter in that tired morning voice.

- Law would always ask, he always slept better when you were by his side, your very presence sometimes making the nights spent staring up at the ceiling better. Though, Law has found himself having to remind you that as much as you want to stay up with him until he falls asleep, sometimes he needs the quiet and its also unhealthy for you to be up for the majority of the night.

Killer:

- Much like Marco, it would be very rare for you and Killer to get a peaceful morning, well, its pretty much never, but lets pretend by some miracle that this morning is one of those impossible chances you have a bit of peace.

- Killer keeps his mask on when he sleeps, he trusts you but there are boundaries that he has which you must respect, no matter how long you’ve known him. Killer hates the idea of revealing his face when he’s awake, to reveal it whilst asleep feels like something that he will never do.

- Killer always rests his arm over your waist, he sleeps on his side and keeps you close to his chest. Laying on his side is just more comfortable for Killer. Killer makes sure that his helmet is rested on the makeshift pillow so he doesn’t accidentally headbut you with the damn thing during the night, he has grown to find it comfortable, but it is still a hard material that can break skulls.

- Killer keeps his weapons by his bed constantly, his hand sometimes twitches near them whilst he’s asleep on instinct, the kid pirates have been attacked whilst they were sleeping before and since that moment, he always keeps his blades by his bed near the mattress slots. Besides, he can also throw them if the one quiet morning that he’s gotten is interrupted, he’d throw that blade at the door if it was anyone but Kid who had interrupted him.

"How long do we think we can get away with this?...I reckon another two minutes...Good target practice"

- His muffled voice comes through the mask.

- Killers’ breathing is always at a rhythmic pace, he’s learned how to control his breathing for decades, either as a form of meditation or because he just breathes like that.

Dracule Mihawk:

- Mihawk is a night owl, but he understands the importance of sleep. Though at the Kuriguana island, it’s hard to tell when it is day and when it is night because of the eternal darkness that the island is in. It’s called gloomy island for a reason after all.

- Mihawk isn’t the cuddly type, he will hold your hand when you sleep, entwining your fingers before he lets his eyes shut.

- Mihawk is a book reader before bed, its become a good bit of gossip between the both of you to pick apart either the writing or some of the annoying characters that are put forward, you both make wagers of what’s going to happen in the chapter to see if its predictable and you both definitely have a bingo card.

- There’s a massive bookcase of old notes that were left behind by the previous owner of the castle along with great thick tomes of either badly written love stories or old lore of the island. You’ve both started to put parts of the history together about the ruins and the castle owners, and Mihawk does enjoy a good mystery.

“Good morning, the lupins should have flowered this morning, do you wish to go see them?”

- Mihawk’s voice is always quiet in the mornings, he isn’t a morning person, not at all, he prefers the night much more than the day. Sometimes he brings up breakfast in bed, other days sometimes you bring it up for him. You can both cook and therefore share the responsibilities. When he cooks? You wash up, when you cook? He washes up.

Sir Crocodile:

- With the hot climate of Alabasta Kingdom at the Baroque works headquarters, feeling a cold gold hook around your stomach is very good, if not slightly threatening, maybe its a tool to help your heatstroke, or maybe its a threat of death if you leave the embrace before Crocodile lets you.

"Tch, you are able to stay on your own side of the bed, you do know that right? Rather than latching onto me like a damn barnacle".

- Hed scowl but he secretly likes it.

- If you are actually very cold during the desert nights? Crocodile will never admit it but he will quietly pull his cloak around you to make sure that you aren’t shivering, definitely because the movement of you shivering keeps him awake, not because he’s worried.

- Crocodile lets you rest on the side of his body that has a hook, he can’t really feel it due to the numbness so he doesn’t mind you resting there, anywhere else and he may turn away from you during the night because sleeping beside someone sometimes irritates him.

- It’s extremely rare for Crocodile to ever stay during the morning, usually you wake up with his side of the bed empty, especially when there has been a new development in the world, Crocodile is always preparing and trying to figure out the next move that he needs to take in order to achieve his goal.

- On the rare moments that Crocodile does stay? He always has a cigar lit in the morning, breathing out the smoke to the side.

Luffy took another glance towards you and smiled a bit “They were hungry!” he looked back at Usopp with a toothy grin when Usopp quickly retorted “You never share food! The last time I tried to grab something from near your plate you nearly bit my hand off!”. Luffy laughed  a bit and wrapped his rubber arm around you a few times, “Well they’re just different!”

Mihawk is a man of structure. On time, specific schedule, 24/7. He couldn't believe it himself! After a long time of insisting he didn't even need a romantic partner, here he was; changing his routine of years just to accommodate you. And the strangest part was he didn't even try to go back to his old ways, he liked having time in the day to accompany your ‘childish’ shenanigans, he liked how you would chat with him while he trains, he loved you.

I know it sounds crazy with Sanjis character an all, but there have been multiple times where he ‘writes’ to nami and Robin about finding something/someone he loves. When you came along he instantly fell in love like he usually does, but something about this felt different and familiar yet so new. He felt like he was physically compelled towards you no matter the situation, the way his eyes would automatically fall on you before anyone else in the crew and his gauze would linger for a bit longer than usual, the way he found himself thinking of a real future with you instead of how your physical appearance looked. Killer avoided you for a while after returning from Wano, he was scared to face you and you realized about his new ‘trait’ then you’d leave him. He even expressed these concerns to Kidd to which he immediately said that even though he knew you were better than that, Kidd had told you ahead of time about what happened with him and the smile fruit so you already knew about everything. When he inevitably did have to face you again; he tried his best to stay quiet and not talk for more than he had to, but when a few uncontrollable laughs came out, he held his breath for a moment for your reaction but to his surprise; you didn't react at all. You just pretend as if nothing happened and continue your conversation like regular, at first he wasn't sure if you heard him but when he started talking a bit more and he laughed to a point that couldn't go unheard and you didn't react. that's when he knew that you were doing it for his sake. You were ignoring the laughs as if he hadn't changed one bit whatsoever, not even treating him differently; just treating him like his regular old killer self. He was so relieved that your view of him didn't change, so happy that your relationship could continue like normal, so happy you loved him enough to do that for his sake.
