Flat out of spoons today
A change of medicine has me flat on my back. I had a very full day and as I slowly peeled back what I could easily give up, to what was an absolute priority. To everything, I saw every last spoon slipping away. Some days are like that. But my daughter bought me flowers. Cause she knows being out of spoons sucks
Weβre back to the drawing board with a new treatment plan. After an insurance change meant almost all of my meds were too expensive to use, the neuro revamped everything. 5 new meds, including a steroid pack to break the pain cycle and stronger anti anxiety meds (because apparently Capricorn being in retrograde is not a sufficient medical reason for 3 panic attacks a day). And no shit...rest when Iβm tired. Yeah. Weβll see. I took the new pain med tonight because apparently God is pissed at us and weβll be getting instructions for that ark before long. The new pain med is absolutely kicking my ass.
So since Iβm absolutely turning into a vampire (I canβt be in the sun without dark shades and on most days a hat-whereβs my cool sparkly skin??), Iβve decided that I get to really fashion it up. Iβm going to get all the shades and hats so I can wear them all the time. And who knows. Maybe Iβll add some glitter too
