When i went to The Bahamas last year with my mom it changed my life. Considering i was only there for 1 day and spent 2 days on the cruise ship. Im from Toronto right so everyone on my cruise was from the states. I was expecting a boat full of old retired white people. I brought books thinking i was gonna read and relax. Boy was i wrong!! BARE BLACK PEOPLE! i was in heaven!! Everyone was pretty young and super friendly! I met some dope ass people and I drank and partied like crazy! It got me closer with my mom which is always great (luckily for me, my mom and i have always been pretty close already) it was a very special 3 day trip. I came back home feeling confident and powerful! I felt like I could do anything i want to (and i did for a bit lol) and it was great! Everytime i go on vacation I learn so much about myself and i always come back changed in a better way big or small. That trip definitely boosted my self esteem and confidence! Also made me waaay more comfortable talking to strangers while im alone. One of my favourite experiences.
