My style-savvy sis @beabannas let me know that seashells are hot right now, a la @manrepeller. I prematurely let out a skeptical little "pfft" with a mental image of some cast metal shell accessories 😂 Then Bea reminded me that I love pearls, abalone, spiney oyster. DUH! Double duh when I remembered that the day before, I bought a bunch of vintage mother-of-pearl inlay earrings with the intention of giving them new life. These Alpaca silver inlay discs were made in Mexico, year unknown. They had worn, old plated hooks that simply didn't do them justice. I sourced matching onyx stones and set them in sterling post studs.
