My 3 Obsessions right now:
1. Classic brown/nude 90s-inspired lip colors. My fave combo is this lip liner in Stone and Velvet Teddy lipstick.. both from MAC Cosmetics. 2. Dirty Chai Latte with Almond Milk from Ground-Central Cafe on 52nd and Lex. 3. Black ankle boots with a comfortable chunky heel, worn with black jeans cuffed at the bottom (and preferably ripped up).
Cats or dogs?
I'm definitely a dog person for sure.
Salty or sweet?
Depends on my mood, but I'll say sweet for now because I love snacking on sweets. I'm a sucker for chocolate!
Heels or flats?
Heels are pretty but flats are comfy. I'll go with a chunky heel or wedge for the best of both worlds; pretty & comfy.
Best part of my job: I get to play with makeup all day! Who wouldn't love that? Honestly, I can't choose one thing because I love what I do so much and there are so many things I love about it. But ultimately, every face is a new canvas for me and since no face is the same, each time is a challenge that gives me such an adrenaline rush. I love creating art and enhancing beauty around someone's facial features and natural beauty. Makeup artistry is my creative outlet and way of expression through art. I am really fortunate and blessed to be doing what I love as my career.
Favorite piece on BaubleBar right now: I love rings and bracelets because I work with my hands, and I really love focusing the attention there. My favorite piece would have to be the Ice Wrap Two-Finger Ring. Its not an over-exaggerated piece but it still a very trendy statement ring!
