Nothing breaks my heart more
than when I have to watch an extremely low student (who has made it all the way to 9th grade before being referred for/given an IEP) try to read and struggle through an exam.
This poor child still doesn't have an IEP even though he is far, far below grade level in reading. I can only modify/differentiate so much for him and his face as he tries to read and comprehend the test just kills me.
