just girl things ldkjhg here are myself and the resident creature @midnightcaptions after a fun and SOUL-filled nine days of vacation!

a few highlights of the week:

seeing Twisters (first movie theater trip in YEARS)

petting pigs and cows at the county fair

making death city skull mushroom pizza

eating exotic meats like Soul wild boar and red deer

making Stein's famous roast duck

burning Soul's curry

making pickles from her homegrown cucumbers

making pepper jelly from her homegrown peppers

okay just generally FOOD (we cooked and ate so much food you can't even imagine it was so very much food)

playing the Soul Eater anime twice through in full (though we only actually sat through maybe ten eps w/o doing something else like cooking) but basically discussing SE all the time lol

playing with NEW PUPPY (i'll let her share him if she's so inclined)

cooked professor stein's famous roast duck with @midnightcaptions for dinner the other night.

he didn't give many instructions, but we followed everything he did give haha. it was tasty!

Forgot to add on the vacation with @midnightcaptions we explored a cave and found @blackbloodteeth.

lol jk but the tour guide did say “when you see the teeth, watch your knees!” and we just looked at each other like. Soul variant popping out somewhere?

Anyway, some more highlights from the trip I didn’t mention in the previous post. We had Soul cherry flavored coffees, the best burgers ever, went fishing and were visited by tiny ducks, went some 270 feet underground in a cave and then hiked to a summit of about 4,200-ish feet afterward…
