"It's got to be here! Star-chan spends so much time here, there's nowhere else it could be! He said it was broken, so he'd have to keep it here, how would he move it somewhere else!?"Â
She seemed to be speaking a million miles a minute; her hands were moving just as quickly as she threw clothing out of a drawer, sending it fluttering to the ground behind her.
There went one drawer. Then another. And another.
And still, nothing.
Admittedly, Mairu had stopped specifically looking for a spaceship, ages ago; they both knew there wasn't one. However, she hadn't found anything else that was particularly interesting, either, and that was just as disappointing.
"I give up! This dumb spaceship isn't in here, we've looked everywhere, Kuru!" The girl collapsed on herself, and flopped backward onto the pile of clothing. Around them, the room--and much of the penthouse--looked like a tornado had swept through. Couches were overturned, and every closet and drawer had been emptied. All for nothing!
