Some days remind you how generous people can be. I spent the day in Dammam with a great friend, an engineer and former financial director of Aramco, and his welcome gave me a deeper understanding of the region and its ambitions. He opened the doors of the Aramco compound and shared the history and future of the area through stories and places that few visitors get to see. We moved through Dammam, Dhahran, and Khobar as he explained the growing landscape of development. The tour of the Ithra Museum provided an inspiring glimpse into the architecture and cultural programs that have shaped it. The mosque visit gave me a calm moment to appreciate the spiritual foundations of the place. The thoughtful gift, the lunch that felt like a feast, and even the ride to the airport all contributed to a day built on kindness. I gained valuable insight into the opportunities here and felt the sincerity of the hospitality extended to me. I look forward to building on this connection and seeing how our work can grow in the region.
