Middleboro / Lakeville (2017)

Yesterday was dreary but I got a few beers with some friends who are local and it made the day worth it.  Kevin and I got married six years ago because my boyfriend at the time, Ryan (who was our mutual friend) bet us $100 that we wouldn’t and we got married by an ordained friend in a Walmart parking lot, haha. Ryan’s current girlfriend, Casey - who’s super chill and I’m excited to be her friend, and their other roommate, Jeff came up to meet us at Central Cafe in Middleboro last night and talk about ghosts and spooky things and have a few beers and Kevin joined us shortly after. Casey, Jeff, Ryan and Kevin all live about ten minutes from me and Kevin and I caught up for the first time in a long time.  with a new mindset, meeting and hanging out with people isn’t as stressful as it was. Now rather than focusing on who I was in the past/how I’m represented now/what people think of me/who I am on the internet vs who I am in person/if they’re gonna wanna see me again or if I am annoying them or etc. I just enjoy the moment and don’t feel the pressure to constantly carry conversation and acknowledge that everyone is an equal part to the moment as am I. I don’t need the burden on my shoulders of being the ONE. We are all one. I had a very selfish mindset before and I was honestly very “my life, this is MY life” but in reality we all exist in it and benefit from it the same way, etc. I dunno, this is me rambling but I feel better and more at ease with other people than I have in the past since I’ve let go of some really problematic thought processes.

A Hopkinton company is planning to cultivate marijuana on a 12-acre site in South Middleboro, with the product to be used by the company's medical marijuana dispensary, selectmen were told Monday night. Holistic Health Group, Inc. would first need the selectmen to send a letter of support, or at least non-opposition, to the state Department of Public Health (DPH). The project is the fourth involving medical marijuana to be presented to the town. The first three, involving proposed dispensaries, have received the town's support or an indication of non-opposition. Tim McNamara, COO and security officer for the Holistic Health Group, said a private landowner who is involved with his organization will purchase the land if the organization is successful in being permitted by DPH. The site is on Rte. 28 near Exit 3 of Rte. I-495. McNamara said the frontage would be developed for commercial business while the marijuana would be cultivated in a 12,000-15,000 square foot industrial greenhouse at the rear of the site.
