Ok, I know it's been a while since I've come up with any original content, but writer's block is very hard to crush at the moment. However, I just had a thought.

Recently, I have just gotten into haikyuu and oh my gosh, the characters and the plot are best, and then I was like, "What if Marinette was in there?"

Now here's how it would go!

Now this will be an AU where the miraculous do not exist. Rather, Tikki is her therapy calico cat. (Yes, she does take Tiki with her.)

Marinette signs up for an exchage program to Karasuno High in Japan and will be staying with Saeko and Ryūnosuke Tanaka (as he and his sister would most definitely treat her well and I am picturing a found family with them, and they love it when she calls big sis and big bro). That is, after Lila comes into the picture and pretty much does what she does best, lie and conquer the class (and be a bitch. Sorry to say but let's be real here).

With her parents permission, she heads to Japan after a tearful departure with the few friends she was able to keep (for me, possibilities could be: Adrien, Nino, Kim, Alix, Nathaniel, Luka, and Juleka).

She starts off as a first year, she still designs and studies Japanese fashion trends while she's there. However, even though she's not very good with the language off the bat, she is able to pratice with her Saeko and Ryūnosuke (and later on with Yachi), though they might be teaching her the more casual version of the laguage, along with some curse words (that's more Saeko though). They are very supportive and all in all make her and Tikki feel very welcome. They even let her help them cook and clean, and pretty much whatever. (It's those bluebell eyes I tell you, you can't say no to those.)

Meanwhile in school, she in in class five with Yachi, and they are really good friends. In fact they hang out/study together all the time. In fact she's a regular visitor at Yachi's place, and she's always ready to cheer Yachi up when her mother is brings down her mood or when she feels lonely.

Whenever she and Her host brother pass eachother in the halls or something they aren't afraid to interact with eachother, in fact that's how she was introduced to Nishinoya Yuu. (His first impression on her was the same as Tanaka's; too pure for this world and must be protected.) However, whenever these interactions happen, Yachi is never around for Marinette to introduce her to her brother.)

Since her host brother is in the Volleyball Club, she learns the lingo and then tries to converse with him on that topic and about his team. She even studied up on some teams in other high schools and will either diss or compliment their uniforms. (Note: Tanaka loves it when she disses uniforms because it's hilarious.)

When Tanaka tells her that his team has a game or a practice match, she will almost always bake something for the team. For their first (away) practice match with Aobajohsai/Seijou, she bakes the team milk buns, and an extra lunch for her Tanaka, for good luck. After that the team always looks foreard to the treats and will sing her praises. (Which at first Takana had to as she hadn't met the team yet, and she was praying she never would, as he didn't want them to steal her from him.)

[Tanaka: Hey guys, so my sister made these, and is wishing us good luck. So we have no choice but to win, you hear me?!

Nishinoya: *after taking a bite with teary eyes* Baby Blue made these for us?! She too good for this world!!!!!

*each member grabs a bun and is instantly transported to heaven*

Hinata: *mumbles with tears stream down his face* Have I died and gone to milk bun heaven?]

After she heard that the team lost to Seijou in the interhigh Miyagi preliminaries, she baked him comfort food and even had him deliver some to the team along with an encouraging note. It really helped bring up their spirits.

When Kiyoko, is in search of a new manger, she approches Yachi while she's with marinette and offer them the position. Both were echanted by this third year's beauty and maturity, that they weren't paying attention and agreed.

While the two where fallowing Kiyoko to the gym after school, Yachi was a nervous over thinking mess. Having spent a majority of her with with the girl, Marinette, gave her a reassuring smile as she grabbed her hand. This helped Yachi come put of her mind's musings, but not for long.

As soon as they walked through the gym's doors, they were surrounded by tall people. It was quite intimidating, until a very two very familiar figures greated their beautiful manager.

When Kiyoko first introduced Yachi, and just when she was about to introduce Marinette, Tanaka and Nishinoya interupted her.

[Nishinoya: BABY BLUE!!!!! *excitedly hugs her*

Tanaka: Lil' sis!?!? *insert terrified and panicked face here*

Yamaguchi: *blushing and mumbles* Cute... (Yes, he's talking about both girls.)

The rest of the team: *in their heads* THAT'S HIS SISTER?!?!

Yachi: *in her head with surprised face* THAT'S YOUR BROTHER?!?!

Yes, this eas a very enlightening introduction.]

Tanaka, again, does not want any of the guys near his precious little sister. Don't get him wrong he loves his team, but he does not love them enough to share his little sister. Especially with those first years, it's bad enough that their in the same grade as her, now they probably have a chance to possibly hit on her. Just that thought is enough to light a raging fire within him. Now, not only does he have to watch out for his team, but for the wolves on other teams if she becomes manager. (Man, I sense that the team will be seeing a very amusing, yet somewhat refreshing, new side of their teammate.)

[Tanaka: *after the girls leave with a dark aura around him* Yamaguchi don't think I don't see that blush on your face. Same goes to you Shōyō and Kageyama.]

Anyways, they both help Kageyama and Hinata to study for finals, (with Marinette working double time to help her brother too) so they could go to their spring training camp. After one of their study sessions at Yachi's place, Marinette and Hinata encourage Yachi to tell her mom that she's going to take on being manager after her mother brought her down. They three of them ran to the station where hinata and she stood at Yachi's sides as support as she yelled at her mother sayimg the she will become Karasuno's Volleyball manager.

Let me tell you Marinette was so proud of her friend did this.

Worker from home today since crazy Layla did her chcolate eating thing.

She’s been fine, but when I left to take Hayden to work she tore up something else.

I honestly think she doesn’t understand Hayden going to work and she being left home alone like she used to be. Hoping it’s a work in progress here cause it’s just so out of character.
