Finally managed to unpack the rest of my room, built floating shelves to add some extra space and filled up my desk with stationery again 🙌🏼 pretty productive day if I don’t say so myself
Currently 48 days until I start my masters course at uni which seems like a lifetime away (considering I’ve been off since March) and we still don’t know yet if it will be fully online learning or blended 🤷🏽♀️

Now it’s official, I’ve received an unconditional offer to study a MSc in Molecular Microbiology starting this September (not sure if it will be on campus or not due to COVID-19 but we’ll see) 😬
11/8/20:
Spending time organising my notebooks and folders into magazine files I bought (and discovered I hoard empty notebooks 🙃) since it was supposed to be a thunderstorm today but turned out to be just cloudy ☁️
Got confirmation that our classes will be online-only until October at the earliest provided that there isn’t a second wave of COVID-19 so will be enjoyable trying to work from home cause I get distracted too easily 🤣
20/8/20:
Getting myself used to reading journal articles again (it’s been about 3 months 👀) since I start uni again next month - this one is on antibiotic resistance shown in Vibrio parahaemolyticus
I wrote a case study comparing detection methods of V. parahaemolyticus infections last year as part of my Food & Environmental Microbiology module so it always has a place in my heart ♥️
(Also have a 109 day streak on Duolingo so far‼️)

Dissertation finally submitted (albeit a digital copy because of COVID-19). Means now all of my uni work for Honours year is now finished 🎉

Ordered some new notebooks for starting uni again in September - fancied trying something new with dotted pages vs. lined pages but will see how it goes 🤷🏽♀️.
(will most likely revert to lined by October knowing me 🤦🏽♀️)

Treated myself to a new pencil case last night which came today 🙌🏼 it’s so much bigger than the one I used last year for uni and will be able to store more stationery inside - it’s got different compartments and side pockets which will come in super handy for my masters course 📝
((also reached a 95 day streak on duolingo today which was pretty cool 👀))

Spent the day bagging our second munro (together) on Saturday and still feeling the after effects of hillwalking/scrambling over 10 miles in the cold 🥶
100% worth waking up at 4.30am to drive there 🏔
