Today's polish is packed gorgeous shifty microflakes. It has a periwinkle base with microflakes that shift from copper to pink to green. What surprised me the most about this one was how sparkly the microflakes were in the sun. And in the shade you can practically see the whole rainbow. This is Howl's Moving Castle from Pahlish.

Today's polish is so sparkly and bright! 🤩 It is a bright green microflake polish and even though it doesn't mention it in the official description, it DEFINITELY has some scattered holo in there too. IRL I found the color to be a bit more yellow than it looks in these pictures, but regardless I thought it looked amazing. I've worn a few polishes in this formula and each time I do I'm super impressed with it. This is Stop Buggin' from Holo Taco.

Today's polish was SO PRETTY. My camera just couldn't capture the depth and richness of this color, but it was incredible. It has a deep red base with a purple to pink to red shifting multichrome microflake shimmer. The shift in this was subtle but so beautiful. What's interesting is that I feel like I noticed the shifts the most in the sun, which is unusual for multichrome polishes in my experience. Regardless though, I loved this one. This is Inspired to be Nothing Like You from Polished for Days.

Today's polish is another Halloween adjacent polish that I absolutely hated until I stamped it. This one, which was inspired by American Horror Story, has a super sheer burgundy jelly base with a green to pink pastel multichrome shimmer and black to red multichrome micro flakes. Now unlike Ghost or Grandma, I actually did buy this polish myself. 😂 I think when I looked at swatches of it I was intrigued by the green to pink shift in the multichrome shimmer. That pink shift is the only redeeming thing about this polish on its own. The burgundy jelly base was too close to my skin tone for me and the microflakes just looked like dirt on my nails. So once I again leaned into what the polish was telling me and stamped some spiderwebs on my nails. With the stamping, I am intrigued by this manicure which is a huge improvement from where I started. I feel like I'll try wearing it at least one more time before I decide if I'm going to destash it. Maybe a stamped design with more black? 🤔 This is You're Not Human from Bee's Knees Lacquer.

Today's polish is a really gorgeous yellow. The base color is a yellow leaning grey and in that is a gold to green shifting shimmer and microflakes. The green shift in the shimmer is what makes this one look so different from other yellow shimmers I've worn in the past. It also had a fantastic formula and was mostly opaque in two coats. This is Heart of Gold from Jen & Berries.

Today's polish is very very red. ♥️😍♥️ It's in the same micro-foil-flake formula as Sky Lounge and Teal With It, just in a blood red color. It's an absolutely beautiful polish, but it was sold as part of a Halloween collection and this color red feels very Christmas to me. I love the way it looked regardless, but I kept imagining adding Santa nail art to it. 🎅😂 What do you think? Would some Halloween nail art make this more seasonally appropriate?
