for a clarification about Mickie being a medium:

he's not a Fey. he's a Seki. of course, because he's a different clan, there're many difference from him and Maya. yes, Mickie is trans. no, he's not a medium because of his dgab.

for example; i don't believe i've elaborated on this yet, but Kat and Mitsuki are also from the Seki clan. Kat is trans as well, while Mitsuki is dmab agender femme-presenting. Kat has powers, weaker than normal because she had no training. Mitsuki has none.

it has nothing to do with their dgab or anything, it's just random.

dmab, dfab, and intersex people are able to have channeling powers. its just up to luck.
