And so I think that maybe this is why there's an uprising in fandom policing and the idea that what you like to see in fiction = the morals and views you adhere to in reality. Because to so many people the line separating their interests and their politics is just not there anymore. No, they're one in the same, because the algorithms they live in show them everything at once, all of the time. They watch a video talking about the world's predators who run everything, and then the next one is an unrelated video of someone going like "I like when characters are predators I think it makes for interesting stories and/or dynamics" and these people are unable to realize the major fucking difference between the both.

It's become all, "Oh I just watched a video on why this thing bad and now someone is saying they like it so this is bad. They are bad too and just like the other bad people then." They lost the ability to actually fucking think about what they're seeing and what context it is in, because they're not viewing these things in separate spaces like how they should be viewed. I don't think you should see a video talking about the state of the world and very serious issues that we are dealing with only to scroll to see something fandom related. That is not okay. That is not normal. I don't believe people are ever in the same headspace and way of thinking when they're hearing, learning and talking about politics than when they're hearing, learning and talking about fandom and their interests. I don't believe I'm wrong to say that. Well yeah I don't, because no shit, these are two completely different things and in real conversation you would never talk about politics in the same way you would talk about your favourite show or something.

Ace’s record has Paul’s sticker on the B side and Peter’s has 2 side 1 stickers?!? Like girl what how do you mess that up like. I guess i get having duplicate peter stickers but like WHY IS PAUL ON ACE’S ALBUM?!? 🫡 I was so confused at first lol. I guess if I want to play Peter’s album I’ll just have to flip a coin and guess which side is actually side 1 😂

All of the albums are very well loved and I have been rocking out for the last few days! I’d be interested to hear fellow KISSBLR’s opinions on the solo albums and also if anyone has had a misprint on records like that! Lol

Touchy Shinso Headcanons!

Hitoshi is…nonchalant.

He’s just so cool, you know?

At first, it took him some time to adjust to PDA, considering he had never even thought about dating before you

It took people a while to even figure out you guys were dating

They thought he was just friendly to you or something

But he warmed up to it!

Simple things are allowed in public:

holding hands, small pecks, quick hugs…

Doing that cheesy thing where he wipes food off your face at lunch!

When you guys have free time together at school, he likes to hang all over you (i.e resting his chin on your head or shoulder)

But he’s not annoyingly clingy?

In public, that is.

In private it’s a different story, though.

He kisses any patch of skin he has access to (hands, shoulders, shoulders blades, neck, cheeks, knees…you name it)

Giggly make out sessions too because he’s so adorable

Just the feeling of your bodies pressed against one another and hands wandering (not enough to start anything, but enough for it to be noticeable)

Nudging noses while you two catch your breath and you can’t help but laugh at how utterly infatuated the two of you are with one another

The feeling of having your body weight on top of him is very comforting for Shinso. He finds it grounding

So cuddling is basically one of you lying on top of the other

Fall asleep please. He won’t mind.

One of his hands will slip up your shirt to run his hand soothingly over your back

He’ll kiss your head and just lie there until he falls asleep

A lot of times, to other people, Shinso comes off as harsh and rough around the edges

But he’s honestly so gentle.

He’ll run his fingers across your skin, but never enough to wake you

And he’s a bad sleeper so he’ll most likely wake up before you

As everyone in this fandom agrees, he’s definitely a minimalistic kind of lover

It’s the small things: making you playlists, following the sidewalk rule, making sure you’ve eaten, making sure you’re not cold…

He’ll carry your bag when walking home from school or practice too!

He’s not used to saying “I love you” but he knows you know

He definitely is much more attracted those those who are intelligent, and he likes being with someone that can have a friendly debate with him

It’d be easier for him if they were better with emotions than him, but he doesn’t want them being completely emotionally dependent on him

When it comes to affection, he’s not used to it, so sometimes it can become too much very quickly

Very simple dates, mainly in the comfort of either his or your bedroom

He’s very big on quality time

Studying, snacks and a movie or two, a late night walk…

He’s not big on PDA but he compromises

He’ll hold your hand and kiss your forehead when parting ways (unless you initiate a smooch on the lips, then he’s all for it)

Some part of him is always touching you

He does, however, get cuddly when he’s tired

The second you two are alone in the comfort of his (or your) bedroom?

He’s eyeing your every move until you realize he wants attention

Likes being the big spoon or having your head on his chest

He likes when you lay on him because the weight makes him feel grounded

Always wants to play with your hair but he gets nervous :C

Will never admit it but his favorite thing is seeing you get along with his mom and brother

Especially his mom bc he knows it’s hard not always having both of your kids in your house
