The FW2017 Rick Owens ellipse dresses were worn as skirts on the runway. Only one model wore it almost as it's supposed to be worn. This is, in our opinion, the influence of Michèle Lamy. She started wearing Rick's dresses backwards, putting on skirts as snoods, and also half-wearing dresses. The French je m'en foutisme. It's a running joke we make, that if you wear some old Lilies line dresses backwards, you suddenly have a newer model (cfr the Seahorse dress 👀) So we highly suggest running to your Rocl closet and testing this RIGHT NOW! Yes, we want to sell clothes. But we also want people to keep wearing their own treasures and finding new ways to wear them. Or go DIY things for example, if you can't afford Margiela. Fashion isn't only about rigid runway looks but it's supposed to be fun and experimental and a little bit crazy.
