Paradise Calls || Quinn & Michael

Quinn giggled at the tingling sensations on her fingers from the swarm of tiny fish nibbling at her skin. Not the first time she'd been through the interactive portion of the aquatic exhibit, nor her reason for it today, but she couldn't pass up the chance to dip her hands in the different tide pools as she went through. "I still say you suck for bailing on me," she teased, phone pressed to her ear. "But I saw how cute he was so I'll forgive you this once." The blonde looked around the room as she wiped her fingers dry with a paper towel and dropped it in the trash can. There were a few couples and several families milling around the mini exhibits, with a speckling of loners throughout. "I'm gonna go check out the new Thalattos. I'll call ya' later, okay? Have fun on your date, loser." She made a kissy noise before pulling the phone from her face and tapping the 'end' button.
She slipped through the crowd in the "Petting Zoo" part and the hallway between larger exhibits, following the flow of traffic down to the Triassic Predators rooms. Most of the visitors here were gathering in the larger viewing areas, leaving the smaller side rooms less populated. Quinn found herself in one that had a small collection of fossil pieces for the Thalattoarchon in display cases along the wall opposite the thick acrylic viewing wall where the newest hatching of the reptilian predators. Five of them, about four feet in length swam around the tank, moving in and out of the seaweed and coral, chasing both the fish in the tank and each other, moving swiftly and nimbly.
"Oh, wow," she murmured, stepping closer to the acrylic wall. They looked every bit the apex predator the information plaques described them to be, even if they were still juveniles. "Hmm. I wonder if one day they'll stick you guys in the Mosa pen."
