Now thatās out of the way, who wants to see something totally weird and experimental?Ā āAre We Not Catsā is about a man who discovers his girlfriend is subconsciously eating his hair as they drive to an abandoned resort. For the uninitiated, Xander Robin is a writer/director from New York who makes films of an experimental nature, this film being no exception. Similar to his previous film āThe Virgin Herodā, this film starts in a basis of reality before delving headfirst into all out surrealism. I donāt want to spoil too much of the film for I fear much of itās shock value would be weakened if I did. However I will say that this is a film you will either love or hate depending on your taste. Enjoy.
