Did u hear the michaelmccchill lore?? I’m not spoiling much but it gives a semi opportunity to give the dsmp the hc of a Radio station that gets broadcasted and ever so often
Yes I just saw it! (well, I read it because I can't find it--)
But you know the meaning of having a radio in the SMP??
If there's a radio, that means that there's a station, a station outside L'Manberg, an old one for the quality of it, maybe a station made before L'Manberg, maybe the first edification in the island that Callahan family had and almost nobody knows it exists, and if the station still works means there's contact with the outside world, that concludes how Technoblade hear, after intervening in a frecuency, how Wilbur and Tommy got exiled and when to their rescue, but that means that if Philza never knew about what was happening in the server even if it was radio it means it's a very specific frequency, that means that only some of them know there's a radio, and there's someone using the radio INSIDE THE SERVER, and someone OUTSIDE knows what happen in the island, a person who publish the histories of the smp, and that brings us to THEM.
And Michael has found their secret.
THE RADIO.
And tries to warn them. But why they should be worried? They are in the shadows, unless.... Michael knows them, or works for them... Or he knows something, but if they don't want to stay away? If the chaos and destruction that L'Manberg brings its just what they need?
Micheal then, will be in the way.
And there's only a way to get a peon outside the chest game.
[Dream SMP] i don't have a title
Foolish is in VC over at Michael McChill’s stream!
Yeah but it’s- Sapnap we’re speaking of, man no matter how many times Dream told him to keep it to himself his recordings are a decent chunk of them are with, Karl, Quackity, Tommy, maybe Eryn, George Etc
I mean the Hunters (Sapnap and Tommy) having a "YouTube" because it's funny.
But I don't think that Manhunt would have a youtube with such sensible material. Because Dream is the owner of the channel (and his producers), so it's mostly probably "extras" or "bloopers", not something as private and sensible as a diary that communicates to the outside what is happening.
I don't mean Dream going "do it alone." as a miniseries. Because Manhhunts is a "serious" show, they had their documentary, they have their bloopers edited. Dream wouldn't want something that he cannot control out.
The SMP doesn't have contact with the outside, they have their own telephone line, their own radio, so the communications only can be INSIDE the server.
The only contact with the outside is a newspaper. (and usually, they end up being very censored.)
Technoblade only knew about Wilbur and Tommy's exile because he was able to catch the exact line of the radio in the SMP, by accident.
What I mean is that after filming, maybe some cast took some cameras. And someday, individually they find themselves recording a diary, by audio, visuals or a type of talk to the camera.
I don't think Sapnap's diary had a whole entry with another person. Maybe a quick video where he shows someone, like a blog. But sitting down and talking about emotions and actions, I don't really see it for him. Like recording moments, maybe, but not the whole "I invite someone to spill my feelings into my secret space"
(Also, I have the idea of L'Manberg members taking pictures and videos of the era. So, people have cameras (some that can only take pictures or some that can also record), the very cheap ones or one-use cameras, and computers, but they don't really have internet)
So, one of the few members that are able to contact the outside, it's Michael, the outsider.
O:! Also I think Michael is taking such a unique standpoint to being a new member, he isn’t siding with anyone. He’s just friendly with people. He’s an outsider looking in . But more of a person looking at an ongoing zoo exhibit. I wanna assume his plans now, if his words are broadcasted. He’s making a safe house. Or even a complete nuetral ground for people to go to him and find “Serenity” which is yknow calmness and safety.
But also. Hear me out. Technically (before slime joined las Nevada’s) slime and Michael are nuetral ground. They’re people who weren’t exactly corrupted but instead heard and saw things. Which also begs the question. If Michael and slime are in the same predicament why did slime choose quackity? Why didn’t slime just leave far away like Michael, and that question can be asked to Michael Vice Versa
Well, I don't consider that Michael and Slimecicle are at the same level of "neutrality."
Slimecicle is a literal slime who's trying to act "human", and the only way to do it is by imitating others and learning from other humans. (In this case: Quackity.) He doesn't have a sense of morality, so he's not corrupt by Quackity, but he's imitating Quackity's morality, tics and emotions and learns from them to create his "human" persona. Like a non-speaking learning a new language. (Also, he saw in his own flesh the whole SMP story, he's not walking blindly to any event.)
While Michael is biased as fuck, and has his own morality compass. He is not learning human means, he's not imitating. He believes that his perspective of the server is the right one, a neutral party wouldn't try to get Dream out of the prison. (Also, Technoblade is not a neutral party, it's a third party involved in the conflict L'Manberg VS DSMP) He's so biased, and a clearly Dream Apologist--
Michael is not on neutral ground, he can believe he is because he's an "outsider", but his ideas and ideology are as neutral as Wilbur after being revived and introduced to a new environment. He already made his mind after learning the "lore".
They aren't "corrupted", they were given a certain storyline, and they interpret in their own way. Michale interprets it as "L'Manberg can't be trusted" so he lives to try to found a "Serenity", while Slimecicle doesn't even care about such things as "civilations", so he hasn't any need to leave.
He already saw the worse that the server can do, and he doesn't care.
Michael and Ranboo are more alike, they are "neutral" because they don't choose a "political" side, but they choose a group of people, and these people affect their points of view towards others. After all, Ranboo form part of L'Manberg at some point, didn't he? Even if it was only to be with his friends, he was involved.
