So, I’ve been on twitter most of the day following whats going on with 5sos. These accusations are nothing that should be taken lightly. I am whole-heartily hurt and devastated with what has happened today, and this week even, within the 5sosfam. The fandom on twitter (maybe tumblr too, I haven’t been on here much today) has fallen apart, and it’s so difficult to see. It was basically like watching my whole world fall apart. Being a fan of a band for nearly 9 years, it’s difficult to wrap my head around it all. 

Now, I in no way want to invalidate anyone. While some of these accusations made and discussed today were proven to be false, some have not been cleared up yet. From the perspective of someone whose been in the fandom since 2012/2013 when they were on tour with 1D, it’s really difficult to believe what is real and what is not at the moment. On one hand, I know that Liz (Luke’s mom) was with them as a tutor/guardian during the entirety of the tour, and kept close supervision on them. She would rarely let them out her sight, and wouldn’t even let them near alcohol. On the other hand, there’s a lot that I’m sure that we don’t know that went on behind closed doors and out of the public eye.

With that being said, if these accusations do end up being true, I’m so so sorry to the victims, and I will stand with you. As much as it will pain me to move on from 5sos, I know it is nothing comparable to the violation and mistreatment that you have had to endure, and for that I am whole-heartily sorry.

Also, please keep in mind that Michael did attempt to address it, even though a few tweets are not enough to elaborate & completely validate the situation, at least it was acknowledged. Any further acknowledgment will have to be done with management approval probably, and that will not happen within just a couple of hours. 

This day has been difficult for so many. The fandom as a whole has struggled mentally and emotionally, and I’m hoping that further clarification and acknowledgement of the situation will help ease some of the pain that everyone is feeling.

I’d have to say the ending scene in July, where JJ goes into self destruction and SHES able to pull him back to reality and helps him with his thoughts. It was one of the first fic I wrote and I am still so proud of the emotion I was able to put into that fic ☺️☺️
