I cannot wait to see the voices they have for the other characters of The Ancient Magus Bride. I’ve just been sitting here hoping that they cast the voice actors I imagined while reading the manga.

I can hear Robert McCollum for Renfred straight up. His acting for Kogami from Psycho Pass was amazing and that is how I hear Renfred’s voice when reading the manga. 

I would love for Crispin Freeman to be Simon because he can do that light caring voice I imagine for him. Plus he’s really good at that British accent so that’s a plus. Sorry J Michael Tatum, I love your voice, and you need to be somewhere in this anime, but I won’t say Simon because his voice is usually too light and proper. Very high-minded sounding and that doesn’t fit Simon.

I want Monica Rial to be Alice. I know Monica is usually cast as moe girls but she is actually very capable of doing grown up tough chicks, like she does for Misaki in Maid Sama. So I think she’d actually be a really good fit for Alice. 

Cartaphilius is totally Maxey Whitehead due to her awesome performance as Crona in Soul Eater. That is straight up the voice I imagined for him. I could got for Todd Haberkorn too because he does crazy really well.
