Niall performed in Spain! He worked the red carpet at the MTV European Music Awards, chatting and taking pictures left and right, wowing a Scandanavian reporter with a little Swedish, and then delivered with the first proper public performance of NTMY! He wore a light beige jacket that matched the suit he was wearing the rest of the evening and looked great in both and I didn't hear the performance but I know he sounded good too!
One paper announced that Louis was also going to perform and got people in a tizzy (he was not and did not), but the real entertainment was the picture of dancers waiting in the wings dressed as watermelons that got everyone worked up that Harry was going to surprise perform with like, a backup chorus of watermelons?! Tragically, neither performance nor fruit choir were on today's agenda but Harry I am literally begging please consider this brilliant staging idea! Harry did tweet the DYKWYA URL, drawing our attention to the fact that all previous affirmations had been removed in place of one blanket statement: 'You are patiently waiting for something to happen.' ARE WE THOUGH Harry are we really?? I'm not sure freaking out about melon costumes counts as patient but perhaps it's aspirational, a mantra if you will. Say it enough times and maybe it will come true...
