Michael Linares lives and works in San Juan, Puerto Rico. His work is based on conceptual practices and considers the experience of art through materiality, process, and the interaction between objects, language, people, and situations. Wait Till it Grows is a series of assemblages that express the open-ended possibility for a work to transform, change and be re-defined. Michael holds a BFA from Escuela de Artes Plásticas in San Juan and has participated in several group and solo exhibitions in Puerto Rico, Argentina, Colombia, Guatemala, Spain, Belgium, Britain and the United States.
