Emcee, Mic Flont has been around for a minute. He practically knows every Hip Hop head in town. He works with at-risk youth, and he's seen it all. We often end up having long conversations about life, politics, and love. It was one of those days that we planned to meet up to chat and he ended up needing a fill-in for his music video for "Walk Wit Me" so I came along and pretended to drink coffee at The Station for the shoot. 

Mic is one of those artists that not only talk about change, but works in the community to fight for that change. You'll find that a lot of your local favorites either work or have worked in the community with youth. Their influence goes beyond the lyrics in their songs. 

Mic says he's ready to start a new chapter in his life and go out and see more of the world. Though originally from the East Coast, Seattle holds a special place in his heart. Him, Khingz, Massiah, Uce Wayne, and Carol Tagawa started a group recently called OTOW GANG. They've got visions and throughout the next year they'll try to communicate those visions to the public through music and video.
