Every time I saw it, I could hear the voice imitating this little monster, I could hear the Hörbuch coming from the bathroom and feel the warm humid air, the giggles and the struggle to get up. I never read the book, and my German so far is not good enough to follow the funny voice... but somehow this small monster made my day.

As we will be apart for two weeks, we spent the whole weekend together in friends house. The last afternoon, he sent me to the train station then would travel further, I went back home. The train schedule is a mess in Germany, it often delays, the information is often confusing, or like this, I didn’t know where I should take the train, when the train will leave.

The feeling of uncertainty, the loss of control, the disorder, the waiting…plus the stress from the past month at work about life, my sense spaced out. I became silent as a sign of getting pissed. :(  As usual, he was the opposite, he told me everything will be fine, lets get some food, we can just wait, then everything will be fine. 

See, now we can stay together longer.

Finally I bought new ticket after a while of struggle of chaos, we ate something Subway. He said he would pay, I said no I pay no I pay —- when the Miao got pissed, she is just the stubbornness but nothing else. I push my cola cup to him, he said “ if I drink yours, you cannot refill anymore.” So I drank the cola, refilled it, and gave it to him again. Fuck the rules. Then I refilled it again, and again, and again.

The last ten minutes, I realized he would be soon away, oh god no.

I said, although I have said so many times, I am so lucky to have you.

He said, it’s WE are lucky.

Then we just tightly tightly tightly held each other, while the train flew by, stopped and waited for me.
