Classic Polish Aircraft
The Mi-1 (NATO classification: Hare) is a Soviet multirole helicopter developed by the Mil Design Bureau in the late 1940s. The first Soviet serial helicopter. Originally designated GM-1 (Helicopter Mil-1). The Mi-1 made its first flight in September 1948. In 1951 it was put into trial operation. Serial production was carried out in the USSR in 1952-1960, in the Polish People's Republic in the city of Svidnik in 1956-1965.
