This recently restored 1954 Atomic mid-century modern in the Whiting Woods area of Glendale, doesn't miss a detail. Architect David Levitt, AIA is known for his clean work and high level of taste. Oh, what trouble I can get into, especially when I'm hanging around @na.ka.da_san. At least there wasn't a gun involved this time!!! Instead, we just got attacked by Large Marge! 😂 Here is a pictorial of William Pereira's design for the Metropolitan Water Disctrict Building, which has NOT been saved from the wrecking ball. Could you imagine the building being converted into living spaces? The tower worked out well with its re-use efforts, now stylish apartments. Shame the city doesn't see it the same way. Wah!
