Hello!
Abby and I are having a chazty here for anyone whose ask was deleted (:
-Ryleigh
how flooded with asks are you guys? i'm just wondering because i sent in an ask a few days ago. maybe like 4 days ago, about my boyfriend possibly being a sociopath/psychopath. and i've been very diligent about checking the page to see if its been answered. i haven't seen it yet and i understand if you haven't gotten to it yet, i'm just wondering if i might have missed it. thanks, -A.B.
Hey there we have 600+ asks right now so sorry for the delay, if its 4days old it should be answered in the next day :)
Really sorry! Keep safe hun!

I sent an ask a few days ago about going to a wedding and on the day of the wedding my brother tries to kill himself and I was wondering if it was already answered?

To that girl who has a fear of dogs after being attacked, I was attacked by a family friend's dog when I was 3 and I can't really remember it (except that it attacked my arms and was inches away from a vein) but I've had a fear of dogs since then. I'm now fifteen (sixteen on Sept 20) and I still get nervous even though I have my own dog and go over to visit my friend with a dog often. You'll get there & it's still a fairly new attack, you'll get there! x
To the anon with the dog attack
Just thought I’d put in my two cents. When I was eleven I got attacked by my friends dog. It clamped onto my face and I needed artifical work done to help. I’m nineteen now but I’ve gotten used to dogs. I dont love them but I’m not scared or anxious and haven’t been for some years. Thought you might like to know a happy ending :)

Ive told my friends/gf that I would prefer to be called Raven than my more feminine given name and they have all accepted it... I just would like to know how to ask teachers to call me Raven and my parents too. Also how I can tell my parents that I am genderqueer.. they aren't the most understanding of people.
Hey there,Can I just say firstly how great it is to hear that it went well with your friends *throws confetti*
Right, now onto the question.
Firstly teachers. Teachers are scary people sometimes (or I think so) but they have probably dealt with this kind of thing before you might find. Most schools call students by their preferred names if they know them (i.e. Abby instead of Abigail) whether it be similar to their name or otherwise. If you feel like you are unable to speak to them personally however, you could email them outlining why you'd prefer to be called this and they are sure to not make a fuss. A lot of people don't understand genderqueer though, so be prepared to answer questions from them should there be any.
This brings me to your parents. It's really tricky if you don't think that they'd understand but they never will if they haven't been given the opportunity to. I think that its so important to tell them as you might feel a little more comfortable if the people you live with (assuming you do) know. Perhaps you could write down your feelings and an explaination of what it is like to be genderqueer. This would give them chance to process what it means and then you can discuss it.
I hope that this helps somewhat. Keep your head up

Hi there, Our oldest message is four days old so I’m sorry but I don’t think that it made it to is. This sometimes happens with the app. Maybe try sending through browser and well get to it ASAP. Sorry sweet Abby
I was just curious, are any of your admin black? Because, like... There are different social stigmas surrounding mental health in different communities, and it's kind of imperative to a question I'd like to ask! Thanks, y'all are the best! Keep safe!
Hi there our lovely blog admin Ben is if you'd like to direct a question his way, but it's worth looking at the Admins Areas of Advice page as he may not feel comfortable giving advice in that area :)
Stay sweet! (And thanks :3)
