Horikoshi didn’t write 431, his team did. The last chapter he wrote was 430 about the manga that impulsed his career and dedicated 10 years of his life.
Wouldn’t it make sense that he would draw the last chapter as it is the most important one of the whole series? Why would you have anyone else than you drawing it? And why does it look like he didn’t even revise it? ( cause horikoshi is very careful with the details and cmon dekus scar missing and ochako holding things with her hands all the time???? Font inconsistency????) it looks like he didn’t even read it tbh
What I’m saying now is that it doesn’t even look like horikoshi cared at all about the “ending”. However, we bkdk shipers also cope with not canon material to prove that they’re canon, like the novels, movies, extra chapters.
So in my opinion nor izuocha nor bakudeku can be confirmed by non canon material, only what Horikoshi specifically wrote from chapter 1 till 430. So if you wanna argue about your ship being canon or not I think you should not consider anything else…
